  1. You can pay whatever you want as long as you have the account number.

  2. You may want to set up an online account with them, and pay that way! Easier and you dont have to wait for a bill at all.

  3. sure, but it might take longer to get applied to your account - just wait for the bill

  4. Ofcourse you can send your money order as soon as you've made a charge to your card. You don't have to wait on the bill because you already know you owe them.

Just flip your card over....call the 800 number on the back and check what your balance is. Just remember that the mail is slower so it may take a couple days to a week.

  5. Yes you can pay before the bill...I'm assuming you don't have a checking account if you're paying with a money order and not a personal check or using electronic payments....if however my assumption is wrong ---- try paying them electronically thru their website with your savings or checking --- it's more convienent and you're assured your money gets applied to the right account.....if you do send a money order write your name and account number on the money order to ensure your account is credited ---

Another suggestion is to enroll in online banking with Capital One (it takes about 2 minutes to set up) and you'll be able to print out your previous statement just for reference as an account number but just mail the remittance portion of your statement when mailing your money order in...

  6. Yes, but make sure you put the account number on the check.

  7. Yes.  Call and ask for the payment address.  Then MAKE SURE you put your account number on the money order so it can be applied properly.

  8. Wait for the bill.  You want to make sure your payment gets applied to the right account.  And there's no advantage to paying in advance of the statement -- if you have been paying your account off in full every month.
