Can i set up an LG enV to Verizon's InPulse plan?

im getting an LG enV , not env2, i was wondering if i could set it up to inpulse? prepay cards and what not...verizon now has the option of a 10 dollar monthly charge for unlimited text..to verizon customers, plus 250 additional txts to anyone out of verizon...just wondering if i could set up the lg env to inpulse?? i know there is a 50 dollar plan for prepay, but i dont want that, i wanna just buy the prepay cards and use those as i go along since i text more than i talk...i already have an inpulse phone, so i know how it works..thanks in advance..

If I'm not mistaken you can change it by pushing *22888 send or #22888 send. I had a samsung phone that I changed into a prepaid for a friend. That was how I did it. It was a while ago so I'm not sure which on it is. Try both!
