Can i ship a package through the post office if its in a shoe box??

with duck tape around it? or does it have to be a regular box??

  1. Yes, you can ship it as long as you have proper tape securing it and proper postage. I've received many interesting type boxed packages in the mail. They really only care about the postage, but if you do send it in a shoe box, just make sure you use brown or clear tape. I am not so certain about duct tape.

  3. You can, but I wrap it in clean (white or brown) paper, using clear tape.

  4. You could, but if you wanted to be really safe you could wrap it in brown paper (like old paper grocery bags) and tape it. This way your box won't open.

  5. No. The post office wants corrugated cardboard boxes only, sealed with either paper tape (which you almost never see any more) or package-width cellophane tape, although I imagine they might not have a problem with duct tape.
