  1. yes u will because i have been playing volleyball for a long time and i have been getting better by practicing over and over at the one thing u need to do better the most. u will probably improve a lot!

  2. sure get one of those improvements videos and a few friends from the team to help you out

  3. Yes! Never too late to start. If you practice enough and work on controlling the ball and ur serves again u should have no problem making the team.

    Good luck!!

I hope u make the team remember::::]

  4. uhm, alot of practice would help you, but makee sure your practice the right way. just get some friends andd have fun (:

  5. Well I dont know, CAN you significantly improve your volleyball skills on your own?

remember- the term can define: are you physically able to  _________ (fill in the verb). ?

overall, yes you will get better, all you have to do is be in shape and be aware of the basic fundamental of volleyball. practice, practice, practice...= you will get better

  6. it depends on what position your trying out for. if you are trying out to be a setter, your chances are pretty low if you haven't played in years, but any other position is still open. when you are at the camps, talk to the coaches about drills you can do on your own to improve. if you know of an open gym in your area, you may find it worth the extra bucks to just play and get touches on the ball. one advantage of open gyms is they use a mens net so you really have to jump high to make up for the eight inches added onto your regular net height. generally, though, seniors make the team no matter what. anything volleyball is worth your time, so do whatever you can to get touches on the ball.

  7. You will get better. Play by yourself, since you have played before you know what you are doing so work on the basic skills you know and have some friends help you as well.

  8. it shouldn't be too hard b/c you've already learned everything you just need a refreshing. it took me about 3 weeks to refresh myself after not playing for a bout 1 1/2 years (1 day practice per week for 3 hours) im still rusty but you improve and get better and soon you'll be the best

    its way worth it

  9. camps, private lessons, whatever you can get in to.

what helped my swing was practicing serving a tennis ball.

practice footwork drills, in the house try your approach for a spike and swing your arm. practice your vertical jumping

oh and hit the weights. bench press, squats, everything. the stronger your muscles are, the stronger your serves and spikes will be

  10. yes as long as you put all of your heart and soul into your practises you will be good. have a partner and let them throw the ball as hard as they can at you and see how you hit it back. just try it, it worked for me and i didnt play that good and now im like a pro.
