Can i sleep in my car legally somewhere?

i'm planning on living out of my car soon, and i'm wondering where i could park and not be messed with. This is sounds really odd but i wouldn't consider myself homeless. I'm doing it because 1 i want to do it and 2 it will save me money. This probably won't be long term, i'm looking for a new career. Any suggestions will be helpfull.

It really depends on where you are. I lived out of my car in the UK for around a year saving up money to go traveling with. I know this sounds pretty obvious, but try to find a spot where the police are unlikely to find you. I say this because I was caught several times in car parks, but never stopped when on a country road.
