  1. nope

call and ask for a credit increase

  2. Yes or No, depends upon the cc issuer.  Some will deny the purchase since it will put you over your line, others will accept the purchase and then charge you a huge penalty for being over your credit limit. You have to pay the overage back asap and get charged huge interest on your balance.  You should call your cc issuer to get you credit limit increase before you make the purchase.

  3. if you try to charge over your limit a little bit can be approved or sometimes it will be denied. if you happened to go over the credit limit this will cause you to occur an additional fee for going over and possibly cause your apr to go up higher. call and ask for a credit line increase. if they deny you keep paying your balances in full on your credit cards and they will eventually raise your credit line even without you asking. it has happened to me where i asked for a credit increase and they denied me and i made a large payment and the next month they raise it without me asking

  4. Of course, you  could do  the SMART thing and SAVE up the money  and  PAY CASH for it, with no interest fees at all.

Why is that such a foreign idea, these days ?

I have no credit cards . I pay cash, or I don't buy until  I have the money saved to buy .  No fees and no debts, either.
