Female boot size 8.5 in ladies Medium bindings? Will this be impossible? Both Burton products and i know that the M size bindings are for boot sizes up to 8 but is it not going to work at all if i get boots a half size bigger? Need some insight.

  1. Definately grab a medium. You want to be able to get into the smallest binding size possible unless you want to be swimming in your bindings. I have 8.5 in men burtons and I use a medium burton binding and I still have plenty of room. Even if your boot is big for the binding you can make out the binding settings so it fits a bigger boot. So grab a medium.

  2. I have burton citizen binding's with an 8 boot and their almost too tight, but they still fit, I wouldnt risk it though. In my experience it depends on the length of the straps, because thats my almost problem. Yanking on the straps to get them into the buckle is not lots of fun, especially when your butt is freezing cold! If i were you I'd go to the store and definetly get them fitted.

Have fun if your lucky enough have fun doing some summer boarding!

  3. don't do it,my bro. tried to fit his boots in to my bindings it was not a good idea

  4. you should be fine just make sure the straps are centered on your boots aka adjust them to fit your boots but it shouldnt be a problem

  5. You dont want to " squash: anything, you want it to fit nice nice. Just go to a dealer and get fitted.  Keep in mind that you can adjust burton binding straps to fit a little bigger size

  6. The question is do you want to.  sure you probably can but if it is uncomfortible and doesnt give you as much control then do you really want to?  If you have a shop nearby you then just go and just check if they fit well or if they seem not to. chances are yes they will fit but i dont like to leave things up to chance when buying my gear.  if you dont have a store around you then just email burton and see what they tell you... thats the best advice i can give you

  7. i wouldn't worry bout it too much. it depends on how big around the boot is. i wear size 9 1/2 boots an have always used medium bindings. an just like antwan said.. the bindings do adjust some. if you special order from a store and they don't fit, they'll generally send them back for you. if not just get them online. i've never seen a website that didn't have a return policy.

  8. It depends on the boots.

If the boot sole fits proberly in the binding's base, and you can get the straps to start without too much effort (to get the ratchet to engage) it should be fine. 1/2 size is very little difference in the overall scheme of things.

I seriously doubt it will hurt anything to try.

But try it at home on the carpet or lawn before you buy a lift ticket.

Make sure you try putting the bindings on while you are sitting on the ground, just like you would do on a slope.

If they hold your foot in place, there should be no problem.
