  1. It depends on what the medication is, and also on where you live.

In the US, in many states, anything relating to your reproductive health can be prescribed without parental permission or notification.  This is not true everywhere.

You are at an age that is on the cusp between seeing a pediatrician and a regular general physician or internist.  You might want to see whether there is an adolescent medicine doctor available to you--they are trained specially to handle issues of people your age.  Someone like that could tell you exactly what your medical rights are where you live.

In the US, you definitely have a right to medical privacy, meaning that whatever you discuss with your doctor will remain confidential unless the doctor needs to tell someone because s/he believes you are going to hurt yourself or someone else.

I've been answering based on the idea that you may be asking about delicate issues at the doctor's office that you don't necessarily want to tell your father about.  ;-)  If all you mean is that you'd rather see the doctor by yourself, that is generally not a problem unless you need a nonemergency procedure that they'd need a signature for. Other than that, a note from your legal guardian saying that you are allowed to pick up your own prescriptions should cover you.  If your father is NOT your legal guardian, you should probably sort something out between him and your mother, because it could get complicated legally if you needed medical care and he wasn't qualified to sign for permission.

I know this is more complicated than you probably meant the question to be, but feel free to PM me if you want to give me more specifics and I could probably answer more coherently.  *g*
