  1. vitamins never do you any harm. you could get some good tips to help you concieve fast at http://www.easyninemonths.com/getting_pr...

  2. Its never too early to start preparing your body for the most precioius thing in your life!

  3. I love Pregnacare! While taking it I haven't had a cold (and I've been taking it now non stop for the last three years..)

I find they are far more benficial than normal vitamins, so I just take them.

We are not planning to start TTC again for a good 6 months, but I'm taking them anyway.

If you can afford it- go for it!

  4. Hey,

It's generally recommended to start taking folic acid 3 months before you plan on getting pregnant.  However since you're planning on getting your implant in September / October I'd start taking the folic acid now.  Babies have a tendency to try to be surprises.

    Hope this helps.

EDIT:  Oops, I forgot to star you.  Sorry!

  5. ive taken these vitamins too - they take a month or so to fully get into your system apparently (so ive been told!) so its probably a good idea to start taking them now/soon in preparation for when you start actively trying for a baby.  good luck!

  6. Start taking the folic acid before you conceive as spina bifida develops in the first 28 days of pregnancy, so if i were you id start them now!!

Good Luck and have plenty of fun practising

  7. No way, its not too early. The fact that its all planned gives you the great opportunity to have the best start for your little one. Well done and good luck :)

  8. its never too early

  9. it is NEVER too late to start folic acid.  go with 5g a day - it's not fat-soluble so any excess will get peed out.

also get your vitamin D stores up:  15min of sun on your face a day or use supplements.

  10. you can take it to prepare for having the baby. all the best x*x

  11. i was 8 weeks when i went to the doctors and she told me to start taking folic acid! :)
