  1. Yes i think so but to be sure just call your local police department or ask your school counselor.

Ok then don't  go to your local police station.  The answer is NO, because once a criminal...always a criminal and we don't hire criminals to catch criminals.

  2. go for it if thats your dream,,,make sum calls find out

  3. Usually juvenile records are sealed and aren't used against you once you are 18. I do not feel this would exclude you from being a police officer AS LONG AS YOU ARE HONEST with them about it.  They look for honesty more than anything when it comes to things in your past.

I think you still have an excellent chance as long as you do not get into any more trouble!!

  4. One mistake? At 14?  By the time you are 18 you are practically a different person as long as you have behaved since then.  Most agencies do not want officers that are tea-totalling wall flowers who spent their youth in a basement.  You want someone who truly appreciates how difficult it can be to make good choices.  Someone who can say ' yep, you can turn it around, I did"

  5. I would say no. Or at least I hope not.

Most of us go our entire lives without robbing anyone. Some of us see crimes against life and PROPERTY (and offshoots of) as basically the only legit crimes.

  6. They aren't just letting "anyone in these days". If that were the case you wouldn't be asking the question. You need to call the department your interested in because every department is different. You need to consider that when you apply there will be more desirable candidates that do not have any crimes in their background.

  7. According to my understanding, juvenile records are not valid when you become an adult. they will not consider it as long as the conviction has been spent properly.

But seriously, someone who has robbed at 14 ? and now wants to be a police officer ?

  8. Yes as long as it is not a felony.

If you stay clean, no drugs either, finish HighSchool, show you made one mistake , then many departments will hire you. Get some college and spruce up your resume by going on ride alongs or some sort of explorer program
