  1. You could ask your parents to network with other home schoolers in the area and see if one of them could take you on board.  If they get you all the books and resources, then you can study yourself as long as they are providing the materials and maybe some additional tutoring.  You could get some advice off the home school organisations in the UK.

    Sites: http://www.oxfordhomeschooling.co.uk/

They would need to provide some structure to your day and show the assessor from the education department what you ahd been learning and how they were meeting your needs as a student.

  2. U could get a private tutor

  3. Nobody actually has to teach you at all. You can study whatever you like and your parents just need to make arrangements for you to have access to the resources you need (books, materials, on-line courses, visits to places of interest, whatever). You don't need to follow the National Curriculum. You don't have to take GCSEs.

Your parents need to send a de-registration letter to your school (making sure it's signed for) and that's it, you can start (England & Wales - see link below for Scottish procedure).

It would probably be worth you making contact with a local home education (the preferred term over here rather than home schooling) group too as they provide support, advice and often group trips and activities. e.g. our local group has weekly French lessons.

If your parents need convincing I suggest buying or borrowing a copy of  "How Children Learn at Home" by Alan Thomas and Harriet Pattison.

  4. Heya, Well first of all im home schooled.

My advice is to do it with a Best friend not on your own,

    you do not learn enough!

All the have to do is get de-registered from school, simple-as!

I left school because i couldn't put up with all the drama! it was head-doing!

And now im happier than ever, moreover i get to see my

best buddy everyday because i do it with her

i advice to ask your teacher for some information, that could help, all you need are some text books, online courses and stationary and your sorted really sometimes you don't even need a teacher/tutor you and sibling/friend could teach eachother!

its great fun i think you learn more and you do not get stressed by drama

    good luck!

    Advice points

    *Do it with close mate

    *Ask teacher information

  5. yeah!! of course you can!! i'm starting home educacation next year and my parents aren't going to teach me. on the web it says that your parents don't have to be qualified teachers for their kids to be able to do home tuition. you can get tutors and online help too. in my case, my brother will be helping me with maths and physics and other than that i'll be doing it on my own or online.

    good luck!!

  6. yes, ask your parents to hire a private tutor so that you could get could get that one on one time and it would be very easy for you to learn. im sure that you are very smart and  wouldnt have a problem. good luck with homeschooling.
