Can i still become an airplane pilot if i have hearing loss from birth?

  2. These are the basic medical standards for a FAA class 3 medical in the US:

    If you cannot meet these standards and have only partial hearing loss, you may be able to obtain a statement of demonstrated ability and still get a medical:

  3. Just a quick little addition to the above response.  In order to be an airline pilot, you will need to have a 1st Class medical certificate, not a 3rd Class.  As you may know, the 1st Class is more stringent and harder to get than a 3rd Class.
