  1. grades ARE important dont get me wrong but uni's also really want to know YOU as a person.

As long as your determined, ambitious and show your passion for it they will be impressed.

One of the guys I work with has got letters coming out of his **** for all the qualifications he's got but he is USELESS!!!

You just have to nkow what it is you want and work hard for it! Dont let nothing stand in your way!!!

    Good Luck

    x*x

P.s. congrats on the results they're pretty good!

  2. The Grades you have listed are fine to get on A Level Courses.  Getting B's and C's in the 3 Sciences and Maths at GCSE is a very good start.

A Levels are what count when getting on a Uni Course.

Bristol Uni is by far the best and has the most respected Vet School in the whole country.

  3. Well bare in mind everything changes quickly, you very well may not feel the same in 2 years and you may visit these uni's and hate them.

But usually Uni's dont budge on the GCSE's required and they may not even consider you in A2 when you apply. They are however, VERY leaniant with A level grades.

Id say keep researching. Call those two Uni's and find out the stance now.

    Well done, lovely results!!

  4. Why are you asking that on here? Why don't you email the university? Nobody on here will give you an answer you completely trust anyway (unless you're insane!)

  5. This was from 3 days ago - a question about wanting to be a vet - the answerer had a few links, hope it helps.

  6. no you should get a job flipping burgers

  7. You need to telephone or write to the dean of admissions of your preferred unis and tell them what you have , what you plan on doing next and ask what else, if anything, you will need. It may take some time to get an answer..they are just coming up to their busiest time of year, but you should get a clear answer eventually. You can also talk to your careers adviser at school; if he or she does not know the answer to your question then they should find it out for you or at least help you to find it out.

Don't get disheartened by a lot of paperwork and confusion now, very few people have a clear idea of what they want to do with their lives and it would be a pity if you let anyone or anything interfere with the fact that you are one of them. If you can not get into your chosen uni, there are always others to try for.
