  1. I diont know where you live but i had the same problem I have 20/60 in one eye and 20/70 in the other .T Call the Registry of Motor  Vehicles and ask them for a Visual Screening Certificate They can mail you one or possibly you canget one on line. Go get an Eye exam and bring it with you .Your eye doctor will help you ,he will fill it out. Ask him what the vision requirment is for driving. You will not have to take an eye test . The form IS your proof you can see well enough to drive.I have had my license now for about 12 years, but it is a limeted to day driving only I wish you luck. Feel free to e-mail me . and let me know if you get your license o.k.?

  3. If you fail the vision test, you will have to get correction for the bad eye.  Even if you do pass, I would get glasses or contacts before driving a ton.

And trust me, 20/60 is not bad.  My eyesight is 20/800 for both eyes.

And I'm allowed to drive with correction.

  4. in the state of GA the limit is 20/60 or better and your vision is checked binocularly (2 eyes) not monocularly (1 eye)  and you don t drive with just one eye, your bad eye still has vision and it still helps you even though it is not as good as the right eye

  5. Trust me, your eyes aren't bad at all. My left is 20/350 alone and with contacts is only corrected to 20/40. My right is 20/190 and is corrected to 20/25. I still drive all the time and passed my vision test no problem, and ironically, my license does not say i need corrective lenses even after the technician asked me if i wear lenses :) shows you how qualified the DMV people are at their jobs....lol

  6. yeah
