  1. If you've hit the legal age requirement where you live (assuming you mean that you are homeschooled or will soon be homeschooled and then want to quit your education altogether). Of course, you'd have to live with what your parents will think about that.

Check out the book The Teenage Liberation Handbook. If you do decide to officially drop out of school, it'd be a great book to get you to think about what to do about your education, even if you aren't having schooling.

  2. Yes, but I would suggest just finishing school early, then going to college, getting vocational training, or finding a job.

  3. YES.

  4. yes, when you're of the legal drop-out age (usually 16 or so) I know in Florida, when you reach the age at which you can drop out of school, a homeschooling parent no longer needs to submit evaluations for you UNLESS the family chooses to. If not, then the state pretty much assumes you've either dropped out or moved on to college.

  5. definitely yes

  6. lol yes, but your parents would beat the life outta you aha

  7. Yes.

It is not a yes or no question because it is not dropping out.  You no longer need to attend public school if you are home schooling.   There are rules for each state concerning homeschool.   You need to make sure you are following those rules.   That is when you can inform your public school that you have changed schools and are now learning at home.

  8. You can, if you are of legal age.

Of course, if you go ahead and meet the graduation requirements that your parents have set down, you can just plain graduate - at the same age.  That way, you can have a diploma AND get on with whatever it is you're wanting to do.

    Just a thought :-)

  9. If your asking whether or not you'll be CONSIDERED a drop out, you will be if you have not submitted the proper papers to your school saying you have intent to homeschool.

you won't be a dropout if you have the homeschool permit and have expressed too your school your intent to leave

  10. Yes, if you're at the proper age, most places its 16-17. ;P
