Can i still eat my defrosting carrots?

Question

i froze 2 bags of carrots last week. iam defrosting them to day. i did not know the carrots would become filled with water and become limp.

what i need to know is are they still edible?

how can i get that excess water out of them?

i normaly take them out of the bag and just start eating.

Yes, it is fine.

Once you freeze carrots you have to cook with them. Freezing them didn't make them take on more water, it broke down some of the fiber in the carrots, but they are still good. Why not make a carrot stew or some carrot bread with them.
