Can i still file my 2005 state and federal taxes?

i didn´t owe any money. i just want to know if i am still allowed to file them or if it's too late. thanks!

  1. it's the law, you have to file.  did you file the last two years? 2006 and 2007?  you better hope you do not owe, or else you will owe a lot!!


  2. It is never too late to file a delinquent return. I just finished a 2004 and 2006 return for a client and have another waiting.

    If you have a refund due for 2005 you had better get on it or it will be too late for that.

  3. It's not too late to file them, but it is too late to get any kind of a refund that you might have been owed. The time limit on past-due refunds is three years.


  4. You have until 4/15.2009 to file your federal return and still claim any refund. If you owe, you can file any time.
