  1. you can get car at 18 if you have the license with you. You need to know how to drive the car in correcting and if u do it right thing and then you can get the car

  2. You need a lot more money then that to get a car you going to need money for the Registration and taxes, Car insurance, your going to need the insurance before you drive the car off the lot.  You need to start there 1st how much can you afford on what kind of car are you looking for.

    Good luck.

  3. You will need a co-signer for sure unless you work for a year or so and have some type of credit.  You may be able to go to a buy here pay here place and pay 3000.00 for a 1000.00 car with 500.00 down !!!    See if your uncle will help you ? Plus you will need full coverage insurance if you have a lien on it, which will be very costly. Probably as much as your payment !!  My advice is to wait till you get and save about 1500.00 and buy a good used car without a payment, then you only need the minium insurance.  Good luck, it is so hard for a person ur age to make it this day and age !!!

  4. you shouldn't have to have a co-signer if you're 18.  most places should accept a $500 down payment on a cheap car ($2500 or under?).  but your interest rate might be high as you probably don't have much credit yet.

  5. You can't buy a car if all the money you have in the world in $574. That's not enough for a down payment, registration and insurance put together. And you can't buy a clunker either, since there will probably be something wrong with it that will need to be fixed immediately.

And no, you're not going to get financed on your own. You need to have at least 6 months on the job at most places to get approved, and I'm guessing you have no credit history either.

Anyway, there's not much you can do but tough it out for a few more months. Lots of people ride their bikes or take the bus to work, you can too.
