Can i still get it?

well ive had my eye on a Lancer Evo IX MR for a LONG time now and ive finally saved up enough money to buy one. Ive been looking on the internet for one to buy but im not really excited to purchase one from a previous owner. I was just wondering if there is a way for me to get in touch with the Mitsubishi company and ask if they could make me one and i pay. I know this sounds kinda weird but is that possible of do I have to buy one from a owner?

Well since the Evo X is out, I think it'll be a long shot for you to get the Evo IX. I think you should settle with a second hand car.

Theres no way they could build you a brand new one, production has been stopped on them for some time, it would cost a ridicuals amount for them to build one, probably hundreds of thousands. Just go to a Mitsu dealer and tell them what you want, with as little milage as possible. They can look around a possible find you a company sevice vehicle with 4 digit miles on it.

It is not possible as their machinery in the factory is all switched to make the new model.  They stopped making them in 06 so you can probably find on still with low miles and under warranty.  Try EvolutionM.com and look in the classifieds.
