Can i still have braces at 18 ?

i mean, it seems like most 18 year olds already have a perfect smile. im 18 and getting mine on monday. is this ok ? i mean society wise.

Of course. There are 30 year olds who get braces. There's nothing wrong with it. Besides, if someone cares, they can shove it where the sun don't shine. lol

I work with a woman who has a son your age and SHE wears braces.

Yes, it is fine, I know a lady in her 40's that has braces, and a friend who is 29 who is getting them. It all looks better when they come off.

I got my braces when I was 16 and i got them removed 2 years later. On the contrary, you can get braces at any age. It just takes a little longer for the braces to do their job. In fact there are a lot of people in their 30s,40s,50s  who decide to straighten their teeth. So don't worry because in the end, you'll have a beautiful smile! :)
