  1. I think so.

Just be prepared to have your credit card "declined" if you are in the US.

Most US online poker players need to use echecks for deposits.

If I remember correctly, there is a special law for major online poker sites which protect them from laws that the "Casino" sites need to obide by.

After all, with poker you make informed decisions, whereas with casino sites you'll always lose to the "house edge".

  2. IT IS ILLEGAL TO PLAY POKER ONLINE IN WASHINGTON STATE, USA.

There is no federal law, but in Washington it is a Class C Felony.

I have heard of no direct enforcement on online poker, but there have been cases where people had web-sites just talking about online gambling and they were given a cease and desist order.

There is definite opposition to this law, but I don't think there has been an amendment to it passed.

The issue is really more about regulation and taxes then the act of gambling, but it does not change the fact it is against the law.

Other posts I've seen have listed this

States with laws specifically outlawing online poker:

    - Illinois

    - Indiana

    - Louisiana

    - Montana

    - Nevada

    - Oregon

    - South Dakota

    - Washington

    - Wisconsin

  4. As been mentioned so many times before, it is not illegal to play poker online in the US.  The only snag is you are limited as to the means of depositing money. There are several alternatives to a credit card.  Some helpful hints can be found at http://www.online-gambling-made-easy.com...

  5. It's still legal in the US.  It just might be a little confusing on how you get your money to and from them.  Check the sites listed at http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm for a list of great poker sites and their bonus codes.  Navigate around and you'll also find a complete guide to deposit and withdrawing your money, as well.  Good luck, hope this helps.
