Can i still use a 1981 series 100 dollar buck? cause someone pay me with it?

i have 100 dollars it says 1981 series, it doesn't have any security frame, no nothing, can i still use it? i'm asking, cause i live outside the US, and banks, in my country, usually don't accept old series, don't know why, but..... Thanks in advance!

Yes..just like you can use a 1920 100 dollar buck. You might want to take it to the bank and get it exchanged, other businesses may 'balk' at it.
