Can i stop medicare part b it will ruin my present benefits?

i was told i cant go back to citi program if eligible for part b medicare how can i find out how much money is in my account

  1. I don't quite understand the question. Here is some basic information about Part B.

    If you are currently on a group health plan that has more than 20 lives you do not have to go on Part B, you can delay getting on Part B because the group plan will be primary.

    If the group plan has less than 20 you must go on Part B. Medicare will then be primary and the group plan secondary. If you don't go on Part B in this case your current insurance will not pay properly and you'll have a lot of out of pocket expense.

    For the money in your account you'll need to check with your HR department. What is done with the money depends on what type of account, which you don't specify. It could be an HSA account, an HRA account, a FSA account, or one of several other types.
