Can i store store and watch videos into my dv camera?

I have a digigr8 dv camera and it uses AVI files, if i put avi files into my camera's memory will it be able to play them.

if your digital 8 has the ieee1394 ilink interface (most do), that is a 2-way connection. your computer can record video back to a blank tape on the camcorder for later playback. it has to be DV format (not all avi files are DV format). your video editing program should have a "print to tape" output option for doing just this. the video goes onto a tape, not the memory stick.
