Can i straighten my hair without heat or chemicals? what straightening shampoos really work?

i dont like using heat (flat iron or blowdryer) but i like my hair straight. how do you wrap your up at night to keep it straight? i heard you could do that. you put lotion of some kind in it then wrap it tightly around your head...? idk. do you have to be black for this to work? what straightening shampoos/conditioners really work?

try john frieda collection frizz-ease straight answer straightening spray. it's awesome! it smells amazing, it's only $7, and you can get it at every drugstore. (it's not a shampoo though.)

you just spray it on damp hair and then blow dry with a brush.

i tried it once without blow drying...it worked. not as well as with the bloww dryer, but it worked.
