I'm a pure vegetarian. i went for lunch with my team and managers and on ordering a veg food he served me non-veg food. i asked him 3 times that whether that food is veg. the waiter said it is veg food.

After tasting the food, i realized that it is a non-veg food.

the next day the manager of the restaurant came and gave me a apology letter with a free meal for my family.

in that letter he only wrote that i was not satisfied with the visit so they want me to serve again.

Can i sue that restaurant...???

  1. probably but you shoudl get the meal for free

  2. are obssed with sewing 4 god sake grown up or get a life dude

  3. Uh, you can try, but you won't get very far.

First, if you tasted the food and realized it wasn't vegetarian, you should have stopped eating it and complained right then and there.

Second, if the restaurant apologized and compensated you, what would you be suing them for?

Third, unless you suffered major physical affects because of allergies, etc., I doubt eat one non-vegetarian meal was really all that damaging.

Of course, it's OK to be upset, and if you want to tell people not to go to that restaurant, send back the free meal, etc., you are free to do so. But suing takes it to another level that is a waste of time, money, and effort. Just move on.

  4. Are you that hard up for 6.99?

  5. i wouldn't cause u don't really have a big proof to sue them...

  6. no, that  is really very stupid of you.  and no one forced you to eat the d**n food, get over it.

  7. I think they tried to resolve it- just take the voucher and move on. I'm a vegetarian and I would have been mad too, but it's over. A lawsuit? No.

  8. Yes, but your damages are going to be minor as you can't prove much in the way of suffering.

So, what are you going to sue for, what are you going to sue in the amount of, and how are you going to prove you were harmed?  Misrepresentation on the first, but the last few are very tricky.

  9. Do you really want to sue?

  10. Not if you ate the food.  If you are going to a restaurant that is not vegetarian or vegan friendly, nothing you eat is coming without contamination.  Next time, bring your own lunch, regardless of where you are going.

  11. are u obsessed with suing...u have posted this 100 times
