Can i sue my insurance company for not paying out?

  1. need many more details, their side, your side. contact the insurance comm in your state. they are there for you.


  2. No. It's called rejecting a claim for something that is not covered by the policy.

Was it for a covered loss per your insurance policy (contract) or was it excluded?  Were you investigated for fraud?  If it was a covered loss per your policy and you were not paid, then you can report the company to the State Insurance Dept for a bad faith claim.  They have to respond to the complaint in a certain amount of days with an answer to why they didn't pay & if it was not a legitimate reason, your claim should be paid, less your deductible.

  4. You can sue anyone for anything.  Winning your case is another thing.  They may have a valid reason.
