Can i switch between a stud and a loop if i got my lip pierced?

I want it done but i also want to be able to switch between a loop and a stud if possible.

as long as you give it ample time to heal of course you can switch.

Yes, but please have some patience and wait at least eight weeks before changing the jewellery. I would advise waiting three months as a general estimate. If there is even a hint of redness, swelling, discharge or discomfort, even after that time, you're not ready to change the jewellery yet. Salt water soaks and hot compresses are a good way to assist healing, alongside the advice your piercer gives you.

Get it pierced with a barbell stud initially, as they heal quicker and are easier to clean - ring piercing is sometimes cheaper but it really does make a difference in healing.

And finally, always sterilise jewellery before you put it in your piercing, even if it's brand new - soak it for 10 minutes in a cup full of boiling water with 1tsp sea salt dissolved in it.

The reason your tragus piercing was so rigid is because it is hard tissue, whereas lip tissue is flexible and so will support all shapes of jewellery.

not immediately after you it pierced, but after like 6 months, yea you could.
