Can i take a hermit crab in a small tank as a carry-on on a plane?

i bought a hermit crab in texas and im going home to indiana in a couple weeks does anyone know if i can take my crab as a carry-on on the plane? i figure if they wont allow fingernail clippers they might not allow a crab either.

the rules are very strict now you can only bring dogs and cats on a plane which kinda sucks but you can purchase hermits world wide in all states

they might let u they might not but im from indiana and if u live in fort weezy (fort wayne) we have so really tight hermits crabs here i got mine from a pet store and got his shell customized

I'm sure not, beause I'm actually crab-sitting my best friend's little baby while she's in New York.
