Can i take a jar of pickled onions into canada?

I'm flying in from the UK and wanting to take a jar of pickled onions over for an ex pat.

  3. well i dont think that a jar of pickels would be a weapon... unless u give a pickel to someone whos alergic.. lol.. so ya bring it!

  4. You are likely to be okay with pickels, but you will likely NOT be allowed to carry them on. That means you will have to pack them in your luggage and hope it does not get smashed or leak.

  5. As it is considered canned vegetables, there is a maximum of 20kg/person. As your flying from the UK, its unlikely there is any specific restriction applied to pickles.
