Can i take an 8 oz bottle in a plane???

i'm moving back to california and i don't wanna throw anything away...

what kind of bag would it have to be in??

  1. If it's empty, it can be in any bag.  If it contains liquid, it needs to be packed (very, very carefully) in your checked baggage.


  2. On international flights from Australia the maximum allowed is 100mls (3.33 oz). Any larger liquids need to go in your checked in baggage. An empty bottle should be fine though.

  4. No, not unless you bought it from the airport itself. but if you come with the bottle from outside, you'll have to throw it away.

  5. When I flew last month the largest bottle they would allow was 3.5oz.

    Anything above that they took.

    That was carry-on. I'm not sure about checked.

    I wouldn't want any liquid in a bottle going through checked baggage. The way they throw those things around it would be broken and all over everything.
