Can i take bread to corfu?

Im looking to save money and was wondering if i would be able to take bread to corfu anybody know?

I am in agreement with the others.  You can take bread to Corfu, or anyplace in Greece for that matter, but why would you want to?  How much are you planning on taking?  It will be stale after the second day.  What are your plans for saving money---eatin stale bread every day????

Why would you want to take bread anyhow.  They do bake it over there you know lol!

Bread? Is this a trick question, or do you mean some kind of special bread that only you posess?

Bread is very cheap in Greece, and when you sit down for a meal they usually offer it for free.

As far as I understand it, there is no restriction on taking food stuffs from one EU country to another EU country.  However, we are not allowed to take certain food stuffs from outside of the EU to an EU member nation.

Your best course of action is to contact the Greek embassy online where you are and ask.

in greek.they sell bread there..but yaeh there is no problem if you take it with  you

They do sell bread there, you know. It's not a third world country. Anyway, since you're travelling, why don't you sample the local cuisine instead of taking the UK with you?

And you will save money on bread? It's like the cheapest thing in Greece, they bring it for free at your table at restaurants!

As a matter of fact, we have some excellent bakeries here that you can have bread you never tasted the like of it in your life. Besides, with the price of about  1.00 € per loaf you can't buy more than 1 beer.

To answer your question though, yes, you can bring bread in to Corfu.

one kilo of bread is usuallly like 1,5 euro here. its not expensive. why would u want to bring bread?
