Can i take drivers ed during freshman?

Ok, you people probably wonder why I'm asking if i can take drivers ed in freshman year at high school. Well I had to repeat because i was pretty dumb and didn't care about skool so i was a slacker. I started to care about school years ago. Now I'm wondering if i can take drivers ed during freshman year or i would have to wait until sophomore year. I'm turning 16 in january. If I cant take drivers ed at skool then can i go to a drivers ed place like a school that i would have to pay?

i'm not sure if you could take it in your first year or not.

The only other place I would think of is the DMV, which is taking a written test then I think a driving test. This takes a while, and yes, you would have to pay a slight fee for the test and your license/permit.

You have to get your permit first though, and I think you have to wait a year?

Well the drivers ed that I took I had to be 15 to be able to take it but I am not sure about what the grade has to do with it best thing to do is to talk to a school counsaler, by the way I am 15 so I am like jsut completed my drivers ed over the summer.

Make your life simple, take your drivers ed online.  My sister took it at this place.... www.eliteteendriver.com and it was easy.  On their web-site is says you can take the course at 14 years old.  My sister took it at 15 years old and the lady at this place told her to put the name JON in the coupon code box on their website and it would give her 50% off......it did and like 20 of her friends did it also and got it for like 34 dollars

yes the law states that you have be 16 years old not a specific grade level so yeah

yes because if your 14 and 9 months you could get the learners permit and 15 and 9 months, or 16, you get the license. but you always have to get the permit first
