okay my female dog that just had her puppies about 5 days ago and she has this thing on her butt basically its from wen she had the babies and its like black cause its old

okay my question is can i take her a shower?

and if i can is there a special shampoo i have to use?

  1. No, she shouldn't have a bath. You should get a few towels and get them damp, and wash her up.


  2. no use warm mild soapy water and towels to clean her up.  make sure to rinse really well.

    this should have been done after birth, not five days later.
