Can i take make up in my hand luggage on a plane

i know i can't take liquids but is lipstick etc.... allowed

  1. You can take liquids such as types of makeup on the plane as long as you put it in a 4oz zip lock bag.  


  2. You *can* take liquid makeup if it's in a container that's 3 fluid ounces or smaller...most liquid makeup items are that size or smaller (i.e. foundation, mascara) and can go in the quart-sized plastic baggie for your liquids ( http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/311/index.shtm ). All other non-liquid makeup items are allowed.

  3. Provided you have the clear plastic bag (which you can get from Boots etc if you are in the Uk, anything up to 100ml. Obviously avoiding any flammables.

  4. Yes, and you can also take liquids.  Liquids in your carry-on need to be 3 oz or less and placed in one 1 qt. size zip lock bag.  Larger liquids need to be in checked luggage.  Dry makeup can be in either.  See site below for all regs.

  5. best to put it into one of the clear bags when you go through, if you really want to be sure check with the airport (via there website) you are flying from.
