  1. Sure you can, I can't that he will show signs that he enjoys seeing the animals because he is so young but you never know. Just make sure you put lots of sunblock on him and keep him hydrated with a little watered down juice or water. He'll need to eat snacks like crackers so he has more than just water in his tummy though. If you notice his cheeks getting rosie, he may be dehydrated, so keep him hydrated so it doesn't even happen. Usually when they ask for drink, they are already dehydrated so make sure he takes drinks often. I work at a daycare and I had a child (12months) I thought got sun burned but when we came inside she was fine, Her skin was just hot, I did have a sippy cup with water outside with us, but her mother informed me she can over heat easily. So make sure he has water all day. If the temp is over 90 it may be safer to stay indoors, but if it gets to 100, I would definitely not go. good luck.

  2. yes you can, just make sure he is dressed good enough for the zoo..  Get  prepared, dont make him get to much sun though.  Some Zoos dont have promitional codes.  So sorry

  3. I just took my 7 mo. old to the Toledo Zoo and it was great...of course she appreciated the larger animals (esp. chimps) the most but it was good to get out and see all the people too.  Definitely bring a stroller, sunscreen, hat, blanket and plenty of food/formula/breastmilk. Also go early in the morning when animals are more active.

  4. I take our 9 month old daughter to our zoo all the time.  Babies get in free.  We're members there anyway.  Why would it not be safe to take him. Don't let him go into any petting zoos.

  5. yes you can take him to the zoo:)

  6. Yes you can.

They are very accommodating with strollers as well, such as the bus tour, they provide a stroller parking area. This is also true of the SD Wild Animal park.

If you can go during the week though it will be much less crowded. But even on the weekends the bus tour line never has taken us more then 10 minutes to board.

    Go and have fun!

  7. Yes you can take baby to the zoo, my baby is 10 months old and I took her to the toronto zoo. Just make sure to bring a sunhat and sunblock and a stroller. My baby had a great time just watching all the people. Have fun!!

  8. Sure, my daughter went at 6 months and loved it. Just go well prepared.

  9. it should be safe enough as long as you protect him from the sun.  he probably won't get much out of seeing the animals, but he will probably love just being outside.

  10. Sure you can take him, just bring a stroller or baby carrier for when you get tired of holding him.  Make sure you bring lots of sun screen for him!!  Have a good time.
