i fell in the lake the other day w/ my phone (a sync, if it matters). The outside screen didn't work at all, but the main screen did, as well as all the buttons and all of the phone's functions. But now the phone decided that it wouldn't work. i'm pretty sure the sim card works fine, so could i just buy an at&t off e-bay and use them together?

  1. It will work, as long as the new phone is not locked on some other network so be careful what you're buying.

Btw, why not buy a phone from a trusted source, like Nokia's online shop at http://www.nokiausa.com, they have contract free phones too.

  2. Yes absolutely, But while you are using that phone let the old one dry out. let is sit for a week or so with no battery in it. Put a hair dryer to it with a low temp. After a while it might work like it used to. There is no guarantee but it's worth  a try.

  3. dont see why not.

  4. Yes it will work.
