Can i take my hair strightener?

my parents are focing me to carry-on all my luggage. Can i take my hair strightener and blowdryer or are thoes not allowed?

they have a hairdryer at most hotels but u can still bring them

well it depends on the airline. some airlines hardly allow anything on board the plane, which makes people check their bags. go to the website of your airline and they should have a link to carry-on items which are allowed aboard the plane.

you can take them i do all the time as long as you dont hide a gun or knife in them haha
