Can i take my laptop charger in the plane?

Im taking my laptop with me, and i have a laptop case so im putting my laptop in there

and is it okay if i put my charger in there too. or does it have to be in luggage

I had my charger in the laptop bag and it was fine.

Yeah it's fine, but just so you know the people at the security are going to make you take your laptop out of the case so don't make it too hard to get out.

You can take it with you on the plane in your carry on.  There is no problem with that.
