  1. Of course you can. Put your lighter in the little plastic bag with your liquids, it just means they wont make you open your bag to work out what it was on the x ray. Cigarettes, of course, are fine, think about how many people carry them back duty free. Don't put your lighter in the hold, it will get cold and leak. If you are that worried, take matches in the hold and if they make you chuck your lighter, which I promise they wont, you can still have a cigarette when you land and are in a designated smoking area!

  2. I had this two days ago on my ryanair flight.  You may take one, AND ONLY ONE lighter onboard a flight.  Preferably a disposable style one, as some of the security staff can get a bit funny with zippo lighters.

  3. no deffenitely not.....

  4. 1 lighter & 1 box of saftey matches only

  5. yeppers. lighter must be carried on your person.

  6. no you definitely can not

  7. Some airlines may not let you carry a lighter at all.
