Can i take my make-up bag when flying?

(in UK)just wondering if i am allowed to take my make-up bag in my hand luggage when flying on the plane

No.  And even if you were "officially" allowed, I'd still put it with the rest of my luggage just in case some poor overworked employee doesn't decide to chuck out my liquid concealer because he's having a bad day!

Although you aren't officially allowed to take it on board, you can still get your makeup on with you. Any liquid under 100ml can be taken in a plastic bag, then the rest you can easily sneak on. Any makeup that isnt liquid can be taken on, just put each item in a different part of your bag and/or pockets. They most likely wont see them on the xray unless you have something on them that is metal, and even if they do they won't know what they are. Wrap things around them and throw everything in your bag in a big mess. They don't like that and try to do it as fast as they can so they will just quickly scan over it and let you through. If taking it on as hand luggage, any liquids or gels must be concealed in a clear ziploc bag and be no more than 100ml each, they are very strict about this and if you don't comply they will confiscate your products! So if your wanting to take your makeup bag it would be easier to keep it in your checked luggage if you have any!
