Can i take my messenger that is on my desktop and somehow transfer it to my new laptop??

i cant just download it because i dont know my old password i checked the "remember my password" a long time ago and i tried a reset and it wont work

Well......how are you accessing it on your computer if you don't know the password. Does it just automatically sign you in?

Well you can't "transfer" it.  You have to download it to your laptop then sign in.  If you can't remember your password, then I guess that 1 computer is the only one you can use. but if anything ever happens and for some reason that choice gets clicked or stops it from doing it automatically, you'll lose all your people on ur list and everything in that account.

my suggestion is get a new account with a password.....and use your REAL information when signing up then you won't have to worry about this problem. have your friends add that name....get what you want from ur email or w/e else......and start using your new account.
