  1. I know you're allowed to take a camera on the plane as long as you show it at security and sometimes they make you turn it on and show that it's working. We took pictures while on the plane but I don't know how they would feel about filming, they might get suspicious.

  2. yes i always have mine cam recorder and digital camera with me. I love taking pictures when you're about to land. I have used many different airlines including British airways, Jet Blue and many others so im sure this one allows it too.

  3. I always keep my digital camera in my purse when I fly. Once they searched my purse, thinking it might be something else. I fly from CA to OK every year and have never had a problem.

  4. ya. i mean theirs no like wifi or calling stuff to do with it. and ive seen ppl recored stuff on the plane. its o.k

  5. Listen to the Safety instructions - they say them before take off on every commercial flight. They are very clear when they say that no electronic devices can be on during take off or landing - and they tell you what electronic devices are "approved" for use... and they are listed in the "in flight" magazine at the back of the magazine.

There may be lots of posted videos, but that does not mean the people taking them were "allowed" to do that.

It is possible that you will get away with it. It is also possible that the flight staff could confiscate your camcorder or even have you removed from the flight or arrested for not following the directions of the flight crew.

Refer to the thomsonfly web site:

    "Electronic devices on board

Portable electronic devices such as laptops, CD players, gameboys, MP3 players and walkmans may be used in-flight, but not during take-off or landing. The use of mobile phones, radios or any electronic transmitting device may not be used at any time that the aircraft is in motion."

If you have a question, perhaps asking ThomsonFly on what they allow or do not alllow is more appropriate.
