Can i take out all my money in my savings account?

hi i have 100 dollars in my savings and 91 in my checking account i really need 100 dollars can i take out the 100 from my savings and transfer some cash from the checking account?

  1. It depends on your bank account minimum. If you have to have 10 dollars in your account to keep it active, you can just take 10 from your checking and put it into your savings, THEN withdraw 100.


  2. Depends on where you bank at... I work for a bank (but I can't tell you which one) and our accounts are free checking, free savings with no monthly maintnance fee's. As long as your getting free account than you can take both of them down to zero and get no charges...

    Don't do more than 6 withdrawls a month out of your savings though because you will be penalized. Its government regulated which means your suppose to save. Purpose of a savings account.

  3. You can but you have to make sure that your bank doesn't have any penalties for completely withdrawing your savings. They may also state that you have to have a certain minimum to maintain your savings  and checking accounts as well.
