  1. hi, of couse you cannot take picture at it.

and i tell you why: you have to know that taking pictures (with flash) of "fresco" paintings is really dangerous because it spoils and slowly destroys them. they need a soft light to keep their colours the same as the time passes.

the cenacolo (what you call the last supper) is about 500years old... you can imagine how bad it feels! flashes could kill it!!!

leonardo wasn't a good painter, he considered himself a person who experienced new styles, found new ways, created new machines, etc...

for this reason he experienced a new painting technique doing the cenacolo, which was not strong, proper and right though :(

after only 50 years from the end of the painting, it started falling into pieces... it's very weak, as you will see and you will be told! so please... do not take any picture at it!

the ticket must not cost more than 15 euros... i think it's about 8 euros, but you have to book it in advanceor won't find place!

after all, i hope you will enjoy it. i definetly love it!

  2. No, you cannot take pictures of the Last Supper. You are only allowed 15 minutes in the room where the fresco is. You must make reservations in advance.

It is housed in Santa Maria delle Grazia Church in Milan , Italy.

Here is a link where you can purchase tickets. In the summer months is  impossible to view it unless you have book your reservation at least 6 months in advance.
