Can i take ram from a etower 366is e machines computer and put is in a dimension 3000 dell computer?

Hi,

I am sorry to say it will not work, your etower 366is  uses a socket 370 celeron 366Mhz chip with an Intel 440LX board that uses PC66 or higher SDRAM.

The Dimension 3000 uses a socket 478 P4 or Celeron D with an Intel 865 GV chipset that uses DDR333 or higher DDR ram.

From the dimension 3000 dell computer

go to www.crucial.com/ and run their Memory scanner,

which will tell you how much and what kind of RAM it will handle.

Then do the same for the etower 366is, and if both the RAM chips are the SAME kind  

DDR   or   SD DDR

then the

SAME  Ram is interchangeable.
