  1. You want to bring cheese with you to France??  Or bring back cheese from france?

If the latter, then you can, but if they do find it, they can take it away from you.  Just say you dont have anything to declare.  My parents have done this many times and have yet to have their cheese taken from them.  The only thing is, cheese smells really really strong, so if there are dogs around, they will definately be able to smell it!  My parents just bring one of those bags that is good for hot and cold stuff and they place it in there to keep it fresh and then wrap clothes around it so its harder to spot, and they have also taken one luggage just for cheese and no one said anything to them!

But beware, its at your own risk!

  2. The only problem you might have is that the cheese would look suspicious when they x-ray the suitcase.
