I'm not sure if I am answering your question right - but I'll try!

My friend and I did try the pc to pc calls. And as long as you both have functioning mic's & speakers. Yes you can!

We used it when my home phone was out of commission, and was completely cool. There were a few bugs in it, as with most Yahoo programs lately. But nothing you won't laugh about! I would frequently sound like Minnie Mouse to her, and I would hear an echo of my voice coming through the speaker. Likely caused by her mic/speaker placement!

Just get a friend and try it!
