Can i teach myself how to play an Acoustic Guitar?

im 12 (13 like in less than 10 days!) and i dont really wanna take lessons, so would the guitar basics help me and all..?

Yeah loads of the greatest musicians taught themselves. Go on justinguitar.com its all free and has awesome vids for begginers and advanced players. If u get stuck i recommend u get a tutor just for a few months until you get the basics and then teach ur self! GD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!!
