Can i throw a dinner party if i don't have a date?

would that be weird? if i invited friends and they brought dates...and i didn't have one?

or should i say it is a "just the girls" thing.

Not weird at all!! Invite everyone. I say the more the merrier. Invite single people and couples to mix it up and make things more lively.

You should make it a singles dinner party so that folks can meet new people. Have everyone bring a guest of the opposite s*x that they can make magic happen. You should invite a guy friend to that one of your girlfriends may like.

Not at all weird. Unless you have a specific theme to your party, dinner parties are designed to be whatever you as the host want them to be. I  throw dinner parties all the time, because for one thing I love entertaining and putting a gorgeous meal together. And for another I love having all my friends/family over and bringing or not bringing a date has never been a factor.

I say have the party, date or no date.  Just have some friends over and have some fun!

No Date is required to have a good time with your friends! Turn it in to a game night [Tabu, Pictionary, Etc] and your have a blast; your friends wont want to leave!
